Self-Righting In Surf

One of the RoboDuckys key unique advantage is it’s uncanny ability to self-right no matter what kind of surf conditions it encounters. If traversing or punching through a wave and it lands upside down, its hull design and inflation will pop it back upright usually within a second, and watch it continue on.

Sitting duck mode

The sitting duck mode is a GPS positional hold which acts as a virtual anchor. This allows the RoboDucky to be deployed at the start of the day and parked anywhere in the water like behind the surf or in hazard locations like rips. The sitting duck mode reserves the battery for up to 100 hours where it can be mobilised instantly for a rescue.

This offers a “headstart” for lifeguards, with the RoboDucky ready on station, we can reach a distressed swimmer in seconds of mobilising it.

Single-Person Operation

Designed with efficiency in mind, the RoboDucky can be fully operated by a single person. This simplicity in operation makes it an invaluable tool for lifeguards, ensuring quick and effective rescues without the need for a large team.

High Speed and Long Battery Life

The RoboDucky is built for speed, reaching a top speed of over 35 km/h and operating 2 hours at full throttle. This combination ensures rapid response times and sustained performance during extended rescue operations.

Towing Capacity Over 270kg

The RoboDucky can tow over 270 kg, including multiple individuals. This powerful capability ensures that even in critical situations involving several victims, the RoboDucky can perform effectively and bring everyone to safety.

Soft and Durable Hull

The RoboDucky features a soft yet durable inflatable hull that protects its internal components and minimizes impact in case of collisions. This thoughtful design ensures longevity and safety, even in the toughest surf conditions.
